Post #45, it's Monday, that means 4 new announcement acts for Rock U Fest 2011:

Ockum's Razor is the first act announced for this week's Rock U Fest confirmations, this song is also a free and exclusive download.

Feedback is the second act announced, they are also performing at this year's Lou Fest event. They were one of five high school rock bands that battled it out and secured a spot. In addition, they also attended Fazio's Rock Academy, their track is also a free download.

is the third act announced and their song is available for free download, check 'em out.

The fourth and final act for this week is none other than Sicfaist. The band just dropped a new disk recently and the song is also represented in this weeks #Video Of The Week too. It was filmed by St. Luniverse and was edited by Third Ear Productions.

Next Monday we will bring you more acts on the bill, up later this week is free music from Make Me, Break Me in support of their Pageant show this w/e & also a free download of Since 1902 recent release, as well. Post #43 featuring 1st four Rock U Fest acts announced!

The STLMU Music Blog is proud to sponsor the first annual Rock U Fest to be held at Atomic Cowboy on Saturday, Sept. 24th. Post #42 featuring The Peanut Gallery:

The Peanut Gallery is a five piece out of Waterloo, IL that have been playing together for close to a year now and are heavily influenced by bands such as The Grateful Dead, The Doors and Led Zeppelin while retaining a modern Indie/Ambient sound through most of their songs. The band is playing both Friday and Saturday night this weekend at Heartbreaker's on the Landing. The Peanut Gallery shares the stage both nights with Likity Split. That is both July 2nd and 3rd. Their next events after that are as follows: The Peanut Gallery w/ The Reptilians at Just Bill's and at Fubar on Saturday, August 20th for the Live Loud and Local event. Post #41 featuring The Reptilians

The Reptilians are a seven-piece Reggae band from the St.Louis area. The mix of Jamaican Style Reggae with a St.Louis Blues-Rock twist, give them their one of a kind sound. They hail from Columbia, Illinois. Their upcoming show is this Wednesday night at The Firebird. On the bill for the show is Echo Movement, ROTA & also VibeSteady.
