Ken from Ghetto Electro mentions,"Jason Bazinet from SMP has played drums on tour with bands such as Front Line Assembly & Chemlab. Shinma's song The Noh Agents V.3 was inspired by David Mack's comic book Kabuki which was on Invisible Records, but now on a subsidirary of Marvel. He supports & promotes the shinma song & has had it on his myspace page for quite some time.
SMP has also had songs on a few Invisible Records compilations. Each band on the compilation is doing really well & trying to get out there!"

Post 13 featuring 'Bullshed'

Bullshed is an alternative rock band from St. Louis that considers themselved radio friendly. They just released their five track demo and are heading into the studio to record their first album. Bullshed has played at such venues as The Pageant, Harrah's Voodoo Lounge, Fubar and Pops's. They have shared the stage with acts like Day's Of The New, Peach, Slampig, The Saw Is Family and Three Forty's. The bio also mentions that Hot Spot Vibe STL gave them a rating of 4 out of 5 stars for their smooth vocals, creative lyrics and collaborative instrumental sound. Be on the look out for their new album soon, meanwhile you can download and listen to one of their demo tracks, 'Push' and it is as follows:

I recently noticed that they just added a new guitar player, also a few weeks back they added their new drummer. Glad the project found what it needed quickly. Here is a list of their upcoming shows. These three tracks are live, originals. Enjoy!

Bill Leighly reigns from Dekalb, Illinois. This is a song that is not posted on his myspace. He routinely uploads new demos and such on his Sound Cloud account and this one is available for download. The song title is 'The Crossing (for Hibok-Hibok)'. If you are wondering what Hibok-Hibok means, allow me to enlighten you, it is an active stratavolano on Camiguin Island in the Phillipines. Mt. Hibok-Hibok is a popular hiking destination there. And now our feature presentation:

Post 10 (7/26-8/1) feat. The Sam Project

*STLMU Post 10 featuring the Sam Project:

The Sam Project performed their first full length show in June of 2009. They released their first CD, "Life Happens" in August of 2009. Since then they have integrated any audible device that produced musical sounds into their set to create a unique and appealing performance. In watching their performance you may see a mix of guitar, mandolin, ukulele, keyboard, djembe, wind chimes, harmonica, violin, cajon, and various other percussion instruments. Check out their song 'Play With Me' below:
