TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION are the purveyors of their own patented Red Dirt Metal sound: designing their own line in life and in music. For them, there is no other way. TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION are committed to crafting a unique, original and thoroughly raucous brand of music that’s born of both life experience and a respect for rock ‘n’ roll’s forefathers. What exactly is Red Dirt Metal? Take outlaw country, toss in a dash of Southern-fried classic rock and mix it with some potent Texas power grooves and you’ve got a combustible sonic cocktail on your hands.

Premiere Music Video For Japanese Version Of "Let Me Love You"
New album Prevail II available now on Napalm Records
Kobra Paige and her motley crew kept their word and now they deliver the second part of their opus magnum one year after the release of Prevail I!
KOBRA explains the story behind "Let Me Love You":
"We're so excited to release another brand spankin' new taste of our hard rock infused metal! This track was one of the very first musical collaborations done at Hansen studios in Denmark. This song helped us nail down the heavy rock elements that would soon begin to lace its way through the sound of both 'Prevail I and II'. The original demo version can be found as a bonus acoustic on 'Prevail II'. If you never had a love song dedicated to you.....you've got one now. This one's for you!
"Dear (insert your name here),
I cherish all the shadows of your past, even the darkest ones. Every time you try to run away it will only bring me closer. There are pieces you don't like, hiding all the grace of being human I might find. Let Me Love You."
"What can I say?! This track has been hard to keep a secret for two years!! We hope you will also enjoy this very special video we've worked hard to create. With a fusion of Manga and live performance, we've really jumped in with both feet to bring to you 'Let Me Love You' in Japanese!!! Tanoshinde kudasai !!"

"Prevail II" is the proverbial yang to the yin and continues right where Kobra And The Lotus left off in 2017. The opener 'Losing My Humanity' is an exemplary melodic feast of both guitar and vocal craftsmanship that anchors the Canadian four piece firmly in between hard rock and heavy metal with a modern touch and the occasional classic rock! The catchy 'Let Me Love You' is another brick to this massive wall of sound, but a solemn intermezzo like 'Ribe' and the elegiac 'White Water' attest to their musical virtuosity lending taste to the vulnerable and emotional side of the band.
Kobra And The Lotus know perfectly well what it takes to cater to the needs of hard rock and metal fans in 2018 without losing touch with the essential roots (just check out 'Modern day hero')! " It was an immensely challenging experience but it pushed and pulled the best out of us", comments leading lady Kobra. Who could argue with her on that one?
Kobra and The Lotus "Let Me Love You" Official Music Video
Released on April 27 through Napalm Records, "Prevail II" is the proverbial yang to the yin and continues right where KOBRA AND THE LOTUS left off in 2017.
Says vocalist Kobra Paige:
"Humanity. One of the greatest struggles of our human existence is to retain it...This sequel album takes a deeper dive into the darkness of our psyche and explores the personal torment and struggle we inflict upon ourselves, one another, and the earth. It has become commonplace for people to give up on themselves and lose their belief in their abilities and self-worth. This in turn affects our daily actions/behavior. We are a cripplingly, self-harming species but we are also profoundly capable beings of altruism, evolution, and positivity. This album will close the 'Prevail' double sequel on the lightest of all notes by acknowledging that every single person has a desire to be and deserves to be truly seen, loved, and heard. When the ignorance is cleared, we can recognize that we are all in this together."

** About Brand Of Julez **
When you think of South Bronx you don't think of modern, melodic rock anthems, passionately aggressive vocals, heavy guitars, ripping solos, driving bass lines or poundind drum fills. However, that is exactly what Brand Of Julez delivers night after night. Formed by brothers Julez Zamora (vocals, guitars) and Brandon Zamora (bass, backing vocals) in 2011 at the ripe old age of 16 and 13. Brand Of Julez have raged their way up the NYC ranks with a passion and fury that cannot be denied. With the release of their debut EP in September 2012, Brand Of Julez have relentlessly worked to bring their brand of rock to the masses with incendiary performances at legendary venues like Webster Hall (The Studio, The Magic Room & The Grand Ballroom), The Gramercy Theatre, The Bowery Ballroom, Mercury Lounge, Irving Plaza and Starland Ballroom. Their powerful performances have brought them to share the stage with recording artists like Pop Evil, Red Sun Rising, Ace Frehley, Drowning Pool, Adrenaline Mob, Burn Halo, Oranthi, Alice Cooper and Full Devil Jacket. In 2016, Brand Of Julez began working on recording new tracks. Working with the engineering talents of Joey Z. (guitarist for Life Of Agony), the mixing talents of Mike Ferretti at Architekt Music (Sevendust) and mastering perfection of Andy Van Dette at Engine Room Audio (Sevendust, Muse, Rush) led Brand Of Julez to self produce their album "Forward" which is currently being planned for June 3rd 2018 release.
In the winter of 2017 Brand Of Julez would find it's missing piece to complete the four member lineup. Drummer Frankie D'esposito from Rokonkoma, Long Island. Frankie brings energy, power, style, showmanship and family that has been missing from the band. Now with Brand Of Julez complete they move FORWARD into the national spotlight. Brand Of Julez are ready to deliver their heavy rage of rock that will have you banging your head with your horns raised and leave you with songs that you'll be singing long after the show has ended.
SHOCK ROCKERS GRANNY 4 BARREL UNLEASH THOUGHT-PROVOKING MUSIC VIDEO, “SHE LIKES GUNS” DIRECTED BY STORMY DANIELS
One of the most theatrical rockers today, Granny 4 Barrel, is about to prove to be one of the most fearless - and thought-provoking - artists as well, as evidenced by the music video for the song “She Likes Guns.” Kicking things off with a spin on a famous Mae West quote, “Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?” The Quentin Tarantino esque song and video is about unabashed women who take down villains.
Directed by adult film star Stormy Daniels (and featuring adult film stars Lily Lane, Casey Calvert, and Arya Fae) the video was filmed in one day in June of 2017 on location at CIA (California Institute Of Abnormalarts). Known for its underground band scene, burlesque and freak shows, CIA was the perfect venue to enhance and bring out the best parts of G4B. To view the video, click this link:

Granny explains, “Stormy and I were on the same page from the outset. We discussed matching the songs’ provocative theme and double meaning innuendo with back-and-forth footage of the band interlaced with sexy women with guns. There’s always negative press associated with guns and we wanted another perspective. The gun represents a metaphor for empowerment and respect for women, courage and inner strength. Never underestimate the power of a woman, she can be very dangerous!”
Granny continues “It was an honor and a pleasure working with Stormy. Stormy and her crew worked tirelessly and efficiently capturing so many magical and intense moments!
“We wanted to use real weapons for the shoot, so the models were posing with real guns - from our outstanding gun wranglers Nabil Khattar (of Angeles Armory) and Sean Myers. These guys brought an arsenal to the video shoot. Everything from pistols including a .500 S&W Magnum, Derringer, assorted revolvers, Thompson Submachine gun, and an AK-47...just to name a few. And of course, at the end of the video, Lily Lane riding our insane CGI cannon!”
Granny is already causing a buzz in the metal press, as evidenced by this recent quote from the BraveWords website - “IT’S KIND OF CREEPY, SLIGHTLY COMICAL, BUT THEN YOU GET KICKED IN THE NUTS BY IT.”
And Granny’s first single/video, “Freak Flag” (released via Mighty Loud Records and produced by Jeff Tomei) - a song about being true to yourself - has proven to be incredibly popular with rock radio, and can be viewed here:
By now, you will probably realize that Granny is a true original - She is “The Matriarch Of Metal” A neo-Victorian shock rock nightmare! She represents the rebellious spirit of rock n’ roll, freedom of expression and nonconformity. Think of Granny as the surrogate bad-ass metal grandma you always wanted.. She’s cooking up her special recipe of hybrid metal for all the rock-n-roll children, and serving up a big middle finger to all the stereotypes and oppressions of the world!
And as evidenced by the video for “She Likes Guns,” Granny continues to push the envelope even further.
Come see what all the buzz is about one a stage near you, during the band’s spring US tour.
