Acclaimed singer/songwriter
Brett Dennen has released the new single "Already Gone", from the forthcoming EP Let's..., available now on Downtown Records. The EP was produced by celebrated musician, songwriter and producer Dan Wilson, best known for his work with Adele, the Dixie Chicks and Semisonic.
"Already Gone" is a celebratory anthem and Dennen's first spark to his 'Let's...' theme for taking action in 2018. Dennen shared that he hopes to create an inclusive and positive space with his new music, bringing people together for the greater good -- creating "somewhat of a party" environment where "people can work together for common goals."
"This song is about making a decision instead of sitting around and thinking about what to do," shares Dennen. "It's so much fun to sing. I've played it at a few shows already and will continue to. It puts me in a great mood. I imagine myself gliding down a mountain or running down an empty highway somewhere. Both have the feeling of release."
The upcoming Let's... tour began on February 22nd, kicking off in Houston, with stops in Nashville, Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco, among others, before ending in April with eight performances in Europe. Dennen is currently on his second annual Lift Series tour, performing acoustic sets in mountain towns, where he combines music, skiing, community and environmental activism to build a movement against climate change.
