The special will feature Brian Owens with Thomas Owens and will also be introducing Crissy Ransom. Special guests appearing will be Peter Martin on piano, The Adam Maness Trio (Adam Maness, Bob Deboo, Montez Coleman), Eric Slaughter on guitar, Carlos Brown Jr. on sax, The First Ladies (Anita Jackson and Valencia Branch), plus Charles Ransom on piano.
Brian shared on online how amazing this past week was for him. He performed at the world renowned Apollo Theater a week ago on Saturday. This past Thursday he was unexpectedly asked to stand in for Diane Reeves who was scheduled to perform with the St. Louis Symphony, but had to cancel because of a health concern. This was shared by The St. Louis Post-Dispatch this past Tuesday. Then just the other day he found out that his new "Soul Of Cash" tribute album was picked by Cover Me Songs as one of their top tribute albums of 2017.
