After three years of transformation, Final Veil will debut their second album titled "Arabian Daze" at Plush in St. Louis on Saturday, June 8, 2013. The doors open @ 8pm & show starts @ 9pm. It's an 18 and up show, it's $7 at the door. Music on this clip is from their new album, the track is "Yallabina" and the video HERE features Cora Camille, Victor the Constrictor, and Jazz. Final Veil is an Egyptian/Electronic group with traditional rhythms mixed with house, triphop, and drum&bass. Think hand-drums, vocals, guitars, electronics, and bellydance. If you haven't seen them before, you should. I saw them once at The Pageant a few years back and loved them. I think you might too. Stay tuned for a review of a couple of tracks from the new album right here when they release it publicly online!
Final Veil's Album Release Party and Bellydance Festival will also feature Raw Earth including their own latest evolutions with the addition of an amazing electric violin player. Many dance pieces will be performed throughout the evening by a wide variety in styles of bellydancers that are coming into town from all over the midwest for this show! This will also include live snake dancing by Ami Amore and shamadan with fire dancing by Raksanna's Desert Flames and Aalim Arabian Silk! This will be their biggest production for 2013 "The Year of the Snake", so if you cannot make any other show this year, let this be the one! If you just can't make it, Final Veil's next appearance is at the St. Louis Garlic Fest in Carondelet Park later in the month.
