The Kansas City, MO. group The Atlantic is releasing a new collection of work. They are an indie, rock, blues original music group. It's been six years since their previous release. "Fever Dream" is the first single off of the "Desert" EP which they debuted in August on Bandcamp, you can also stream it on Spotify HERE.

In addition, they are also a part of a small local label called BLKC Records which was started to help artists get their music out there to a larger audience. PlayListPlay recently did a review of the upcoming release, plus they just were on "Homegrown Buzz" with Jeriney on 96.5 FM The Buzz in Kansas City. The new EP is now available on all major digital platforms.

Curtains Closed: Experience The Debut Single By @nothinggoodstl #PopRock #PopPunk #Emo

Nothing Good is a one-man pop punk project from St. Louis, MO. featuring Kerry Ritter on vocals, guitar, bass, keyboard, programming, engineering and production. Nothing Good draws inspiration from up-beat pop punk, pop rock, and emo acts of the 90s and 200s (blink-182, Jimmy Eat World, the Get Up Kids) as well as modern pop punk staples (State Champs, The Story So Far, Seaway). 

The musical goal is simple: create fun, up-beat songs that tell stories. While many modern pop-punk acts have carried a focus on melancholy and frustration, Nothing Good focuses on stories of happiness, love, and positive-focused tribulation.

"Curtains Closed" (and an accompanying acoustic versio) was the first single released on October 21, 2017 and will be followed in mid-November with a second single (to be named). The debut album is currently in production stages, but the project is already looking forward to the sophomore release and has started pre-production.

Makena and Brock's origins as a musical duo came about in 2007 while performing at a Children's Miracle Network benefit show. Things just clicked upon their meeting and they instantly became a musical duo and great friends. They began touring in 2009 throughout the U.S. and they got the opportunity to share the stage with James Otto, Uncle Kracker and Sheryl Crow. In the summer of 2014 they began touring withthe Professional Bull Riders providing the official Anthem performances. In addition, they also played after parties in the towns traveled along the tour. They also scored a spot with the NFL when the Rams were still in St. Louis, plus the Texas Nascar 500 Speedway and some minor league sports leagues along the way. 2014 also brought additional opportunities to share the stage with big-name artists like Chris Lane, Granger Smith, Cowboy Troy, Sam Riggs, Dylan Scott, David Fanning and Parmalee. The end of the year brought a tour with Keith Anderson.

However, the biggest break for the duo came in the summer of 2011 while performing for tens of millions of viewers and were chosen as top 12 group finalists on the American version of Simon Cowell's hit show The X-Factor. They were one of the last few remaining country artists on the show and received critical acclaim from some of the most renowned figures in the music industry. They have been featured in major magazine publications and also mainstream media websites.
