This Saturday, February 17th at noon brings a family matinee show to The Stage At KDHX presented by Musical Merry-Go-Round featuring the group Fire Dog celebrating the release of their new CD "Endangered Species Project". The inspiration behind the album is centered around endangered species, but stems from the song "Hellbender" about a visit to the St. Louis Zoo. The track became a teaching tool of the group's leader Mark Pagano as it sparked a new curriculum that he developed in St. Louis Public Schools. After public inquiries and demand for the educational album and a grant in 2016 from the Regional Arts Commission the production of the recording began.
