Post 21 featuring 'The Home Wreckers' :
The Home Wreckers have been an institution in the St. Louis music scene for years, twelve to be exact, but whose counting? Ok, I guess I am, I have had the privilege of seeing them evolve over the years, this post offers up a free download of one of their new tracks not even released yet! You can also stream the other three below this track. The band's Reverbnation states the following about the upcoming CD release: "We wanted to let everyone know that we are getting ready to release our new CD 'Nostalgia'. We will be having a CD release party on Jan 28th 2011 @ The Crack Fox 1114 Olive St. Saint Louis, MO . 4 of the new songs and some older ones are right here on our Reverbnation page. Post 20 featuring 'The Orbz' :
The Orbz stopped by KWUR 90.3 FM for a "Stack Session" of 4 live tracks and were posted on Nov. 10th. Their next show is 12/19 at the Firebird with Ultimate Fakebook, whose album is free at www.ufbrocks.com/album. To get tickets for this show online, visit Ticketfly. Ultimate Fakebook is one of their vocalist's long time heroes, according to their website. The Orbz are comprised of Jason Robinson on vocals, Ken Adelman on guitar, Jeremy Ivy on bass and Chris Luckett on drums. They are a indie, new-wave, post-punk type of group. Check them out:
